Apply for Bright Eyes

Does your child/dependent need eyeglasses? KLSA can help! Your child/dependents (infant through 12th grade) can get them from the KMCC Optical shop if you are the following:

  • An active duty service person stationed and living in the KMC area .

  • Your child/dependent qualifies for the USDA Free Lunch Program.

For the Bright Eyes Program, the Bright Eyes POC for KLSA will use the AAFES Free Lunch program* qualification guidelines to determine eligibility. If you think your child is eligible and you would like to apply for the program, please click on the button below.

PRINTABLE INSTRUCTIONS: Click here for a printable copy of the instructions.

Please note that KLSA is an all-volunteer organization with limited funding. Our mission is oriented to give based on need, and we try to help as many families as possible. Thank you for your understanding.

*Qualifying for the Free Lunch Program means that your household can participate in the Free Lunch Program under the Income Eligibility Guidelines (IEGs) established by the US Department of Agriculture (USDA).
