Bright Eyes Program Application: Non-DoDEA Students

Process for students who are in a Non-DoDEA school (examples: home schooled or attending a German school):

Complete the application form on the right. Once submitted, the form will be sent to Parent Central Services who will contact you to coordinate LES submittal.
Once Parent Central Services verifies your income and the number of dependents, they will send an email with this information to the Bright Eyes POC.
Upon receipt of verification, the Bright Eyes POC will determine qualification against the AAFES Free Lunch guidelines. If the servicemember qualifies, the Bright Eyes POC will issue a qualification memo via email to the servicemember.
Servicemember or spouse must bring the memo to the KMCC Optical Shop to receive a credit of $89.95 toward a pair of glasses. This is good for one pair, per child, per school year.*

*A school year is defined as the first day of the fall semester through the last day before the start of the following fall semester.
