The Kaiserslautern Landstuhl Spouses' Association (KLSA) is dedicated to developing and fostering a spirit of community! As a group united by the common bond of living overseas, away from our immediate families, we aim to become your extended family as we navigate our time here in Germany together. We believe that sharing our time, compassion, and knowledge helps create a better community for everyone. You will find that our motto, "Fun, Friends & Philanthropy," forms the foundation of our beliefs.

KLSA is both a social and service organization dedicated to providing financial and community support for various activities and programs within the Kaiserslautern Military Community (KMC). Our primary source of funding comes from the KLSA Thrift Shop located on LRMC in Landstuhl. The proceeds from the shop support Community Grants, the Chaplains Holiday Fund, and the KMC Merit Scholarships.

KLSA has a long and proud history in the KMC. Initially starting as a club, we opened the thrift shop doors 60 years ago in 1963. We are grateful and thankful for the continued support we have been able to provide to our overseas family throughout the years. Thanks to our amazing members, KLSA has collectively volunteered thousands of hours to support the KMC, its missions, and its people.

Our Community Giving program has provided monetary support to a wide variety of organizations, schools, and activities within the KMC.

KLSA is the principal sponsor of the annual Chaplains Holiday Fund, and this year we are proud to donate over $12,000 in commissary gift cards to soldiers and their families to help alleviate the financial burden during the holiday season. Additionally, we are excited to offer our members the opportunity to apply for the KMC Merit Scholarship, which assists with tuition and educational costs.
